I haven't been able to post in a while :( My internet sucks!!! But when I finally got online today I was happy cuz Russ and his friends at work made a new video for April Fools, and it totally made me LMFAO!!!

Man-church FAIL!

Sorry you didn't do better last night, Russ!!!  I guess that new slam wasn't ready for man-church!!!

But who was that girl Russ was with?  I thought I saw her at Jobot on Monday??  If that was her, she was one of the judges then.  That's ONE way to try to get good slam scores, dude!!

OYL = One year later, cuz I've lived in AZ for a whole year!!!! It's cool, especially since Russ keeps being so awesome!!  He had TWO features this month AND he won the Tucson poetry slam!!!  The numbers there were weird (I was following it on Klute's FB) but in the end Russ still won so booyah!  Tucson could use some good news now too.  Russ brought it!

CONSPIRE'S RUSSMAS SHOW!

I'm SOOO sad I couldn't go to Russ's bday show tonight but I got to watch it on Ustream and it was AWESOME!  He was soo funny and everybody that read was awesome except this old lady that read for like 20 min. and split right after.  Robin G. played this cool little Xmas set and even Ian tried guitar!!  Anyway thank God for the Internetz cuz I might have missed one of the best open mics ever!!!!!  Happy bday, Russ!  I'm gonna read my Amazing AZ Comics again and go to bed.

RUSSMAS is coming and Russ won $100!!!

Last night was so awesome!  I went to Sedona which is this beautiful New Agey city in Arizona because I heard there was a poetry slam there and I wondered if Russ would go.  He DID......and he WON IT!  $100 babaayyy!  Don't spend it all in one place, buddy!  (Tho knowing Russ, he will, at Atomic Comics or something!!)

Anyway, the slam was cool.  That chick with the pink hair was the feature.  Klute ALMOST won, and that other guy with the poem about his imaginary friend was hilarious, too.  He shoulda won, really, but Russ was on fire.  Just in time for his birthday soon! :D

Amazing AZ Comics is so funny!

I finally bought Russ's comix at this store in Mesa called Evermore Nevermore.  They are so funny!!!! Seriously, they're waaay better than the karaoke comics Russ made.  I mean, that one's cool, too but these are different.  I hope he keeps making them.  And Evermore Nevermore is AWESOME!  The owners are sooo nice!!  I'm gonna go back soon.  They had a whole poetry shelf and I think I saw Bill Campanana's DVD there.
